If you are running CleanMyOrg in a public facing situation or wish to control access, you can enable login credentials.

To enable login credentials, edit the config/nodeconfig.json file and make the following modifications:

  1. Under the “useLoginAuth” “useSecureAuth” field, set “enabled” to trueChange the “login” and “password” fields to the desired credentials
  2. Using Command Prompt, go to the CleanMyOrg root directory and type:
    cleanmyorg setpw yourusername yourpassword
  3. This will set the username and password to use for the client interface.
  4. Restart your CleanMyOrg .exe or service.
