The View Item Dependencies tool is only available in for AdminTools Pro and AdminTools for ArcGIS Enterprise.

The View Item Dependencies tool is not available in AdminTools Basic.

There are two easy ways to view an item’s dependencies.

  1. A table will appear. Find the item(s) in question by applying any number of custom filters, and then select the item(s) whose dependencies you wish to view.
    Then click “Next” in the bottom right hand corner of the screen.

In this instancethe example above, the three items selected were “BriceTest” (Feature Service), “Web Layers Share Test” (Web Map), and “Public sharing test” (Web Map).

You can see that in this particular instance, the “Web Layers Share TestTest” item contains the feature service BriceTestBriceTest”, and both Web Layers Share TestTest” and Public sharing testtest” both contain a map service called “World Hillshade”.

Each item can be moved dragged around the to create a visual diagram that fits the needs of the user.

  1. A window will appear that will list the item’s dependencies and will give the user the option of exporting the dependencies to a CSV file or viewing them within the “View Item Dependencies” tool.
