Getting Started With Admin Tools

Admin Tools is designed to be simple, easy to use, and user-friendly. 

All tools within Admin Tools for ArcGIS are divided into four categories:

  1. Items Tools (Represented by the stack of boxes icon)

     

  2. Groups Tools (Represented by the group of people icon)

     

  3. Users Tools (Represented by the single person icon)

     

  4. Workflows (Represented by the Flowchart Icon)
    This is where you will find operations like “View Item Dependencies.”

     

In order to begin working in Admin Tools, select the appropriate category of tools (shown above) for what you want to accomplish, and select the specific tool from the list of available tools for that category. After selecting a tool, you will typically be shown a list view where filters can be set as needed.

From there, proceed through the tool, confirming, and executing your action against the item(s) you’ve selected.
