In previous steps, you used the BackupMyOrg

backup csv file. For backup logs, you will navigate to the location where your backups are saved and look for the individual backup folder.

The location of the saved backups can be found a number of ways. They are:

titleFinding Your Backup Folder through your "Manage Identities Page"
  1. You can check your “Manage Identities” page and view the organization’s identity settings.

    1. Therein, you will see a box that contains the storage type and location for all backups.

    2. Find the box for “Storage Type” and “Save Location for Backups and Restores”. This will tell you where to find the folder containing the backed up data.

    3. Navigate to that location, and find the folder that corresponds to the backup in question.

      NOTE: The names of the backup folders will not be the same as what you named the backup within the BackupMyOrg Interface. It is easiest to match the time of the completed backup with the “Date Modified” field on the folder to ensure the correct backup.

  1. When you are able to navigate to your backup folder in the assigned storage location, you will see a JSON file with the following name structure:
    ”<Name of Backup Folder>-backupEntries”

  2. Send that file to GEO Jobe Support when asked.
