If Admin Tools Mongo DB Service Will Not Start

After performing an install of Admin Tools for ArcGIS, MongoDB will not start and gives an error such as:
Error
The service is not responding to the control function (error 2186).
This issue is most commonly ran into when performing an Admin Tools for ArcGIS install in a fresh server environment.
NOTE: This is most usually caused by not having a the most up to date version of the .NET Framework from Microsoft.
If you encounter this error, Please install .NET Framework 4.5.
