Can Admin Tools Create, Import, or Restore Deleted Items to an ArcGIS Organization?
The deletion of content in ArcGIS Online is a permanent action, and GEO Jobe’s Admin Tools does not have the ability to restore deleted content.
Questions have been raised if the Admin Tools feature “Import Items from CSV” can create, import, or restore deleted items to your ArcGIS Organization. Admin Tools CAN NOT and is not specifically designed to assist in the creation, backup, and recovery of ArcGIS Online (AGOL) items. The Admin Tools "Export to CSV" and "Import from CSV" features are utilized to document and edit values of existing content, but NOT create, backup, or restore actual content within ArcGIS Online.
However, items and other deleted content can be restored to an ArcGIS Organization using GEO Jobe’s product Backup My Org:
